The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships men’s event is now in its 21st year where
as the women’s event enjoys its 12th successful year in Dubai. Since its inception
the tournament has grown in size and prominence and is staged in Aviation Club Tennis
Centre.
The
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and
Ruler of Dubai.
Dates of Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship 2012
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Matches will begin on 18th February 2013
and end on 23rd February 2013.
Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Matches will begin on <25th February
and end on 2nd March 2013.
Crème de la Creme of Tennis @ Dubai Tennis Tournament
Get ready to see the world-famous Tennis stars during the tournament. Five time
champion Roger Federer is expected to make a huge come back this year as
he will return to compete with World No. 1 Novak Djokovic for a prize fund worth
$ 1,785,500. A stellar line up of stars including big names like Tomas Berdych,
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Juan Martin Del Potro and Janko Tipsarevic will be there too.
In WTA tough competition is expected between the two rivals and champions Serena
Williams and world number one Victoria Azarenka. Joining them would be the top 17
